Award-Winning Custom Garage Designer
Your garage has issues. Let’s talk.
I’m DeEtte — an award-winning Custom Garage Designer with deep experience in residential garage planning, layout strategy, and high-end storage design.
In my previous life, I designed complex special events, custom closets, swanky kitchens, and everything in between. Now I design high-end garages.
And I’ve been doing it at scale.
Over the course of my career, I have:
• Walked through thousands of real garages
• Served as the design lead on 400+ completed garage projects
• Sold and scoped over $5 million in garage cabinetry, flooring, car lifts, and storage systems
• Won multiple design awards for garage projects
Not concept boards.
Not “in theory.”
Real garages. Real budgets. Real installs.
A garage isn’t just storage. It’s the most underestimated room in your house. It has more rules than your kitchen and less forgiveness than your primary bath.
Ceiling height decides your lift options. Door tracks dictate your lighting. Cabinet depth affects whether your car door actually opens. Slab condition determines flooring performance. Power placement impacts workflow. And resale? That’s quietly watching all of it.
Ignore those realities and the garage will humble you.
I’ve seen beautiful cabinets installed where cars can’t park. I’ve seen lifts ordered that don’t clear door tracks. I’ve seen homeowners spend tens of thousands… and still feel frustrated.
That’s why I don’t begin with finishes. I begin with function.
We map the space. We diagnose the constraints. We design around how you actually live.
When the structure is right, everything else falls into place — the cabinets, the lighting, the flooring, the budget.
Clarity first. Products second.
That’s how projects stay on track. That’s how garages actually work.
And then comes the part most people skip: design with intention.
I always start with your vision — how you want the space to feel, how you want it to function, what you want it to say about your home. But intention means we don’t just fill walls with cabinets and call it done. It means alignment in style and practicality. It means symmetry when it matters. Clean terminations. Proper spacing. Thoughtful material transitions. Hardware that relates. Lighting that actually highlights the room instead of fighting it.
It means the difference between a garage that looks DIY… and one that looks professionally designed and installed — even if you install it yourself.
Because without intention, it will always look like pieces added over time.
With intention, it becomes an elevated extension of your home.
Visual mess creates stress.
Smart garage design creates calm.
Whether you’re planning:
• A custom garage renovation
• New construction garage layout design
• Luxury garage interior build-out
• Car lift integration
• Custom garage cabinets
• Or a phased, high-function DIY approach
I help you build a garage plan that works in real life.
Because I’ve been inside thousands of them.
I’ve seen what fails.
I’ve seen what wins awards. and uber happy clients.
And I know the difference.
Your garage is the hardest-working square footage in your home. It deserves an expert!
